Sportsfreund Studios and leather manufacturer Melasól designed a saddle blanket that is truly one of a kind: 100% Bavarian sheep's wool meets Icelandic fish leather.

Our tried-and-tested saddle pads made from pure new wool appear in this collection in deep black cloth loden, quilted with sparkling rainbow yarn and framed by a surrounding piping made from genuine fish leather – an Icelandic natural material that shimmers in all colors of the spectrum. Pure functionality and extraordinary beauty thus combine to form a harmonious whole.

Bavarian loden is padded with lavalan®, the best wool fleece produced locally, and guarantees an uncompromisingly horse-friendly saddle pad. A wool pad supports your horse's back in a natural way: it keeps the saddle area dry, regulates temperature in all weather conditions, and helps relax the back muscles. Thanks to its anatomical cut, it fits harmoniously to any horse's back and saddle. Pure new wool is also surprisingly easy to care for —machine washable, polyester-free, and sustainably processed. Made in Germany.

You should brush out a saddlecloth made of wool after every ride. It dries best if you take it out from under the saddle and place it on the saddle with the wet side facing up.
